JESUS AND ME

My first post was about looking and listening for God. He continues to bless me with unquestionable events that confirm He is indeed watching, listening and comforting me.
Before my husband’s homegoing, I began praying Lord, please show me signs when he is gone that He is with You and is at peace. Days after he left, I started seeing hawks everywhere, on wires, in the tops of trees, on posts, flying above roads, and even one in a Target lot in front of where I parked. What are the odds of that happening? I call these things a God Nod. I still look for them and see them frequently.
About a year later, I listened to a podcast, and the podcaster mentioned looking for rocks shaped like hearts. I started doing that when I was sad and was surprised at how many heart-shaped stones there are. Two Sundays ago, several of my friends and their family members were hurting physically and emotionally, so while praying and going down the dirt drive, I began to look for hearts.
The picture in this post shows what I found on my way back up the driveway. I couldn’t help but smile – another God Nod. Keep praying, looking, and listening – He is always there.
